What Is a Heart Face Shape?

A heart face is widest at the forehead and narrows steadily to a pointed chin. The cheekbones sit between the two, and the jaw tapers sharply, which is what produces the characteristic heart outline.

How to Tell If You Have a Heart Face

The four measurements every shape on this site is defined by.

Compare forehead and jaw
On a heart face the forehead is clearly wider than the jaw. If they are close to equal, look at oval or oblong instead.

Look at the chin
The chin comes to a point rather than a curve or a flat line. That point is the single strongest heart signal.

Check the hairline
A widow's peak often accompanies the shape, though its absence does not rule heart out — the width gradient is what matters.
